Fancy a break to get away from it all? Vacations (holidays) often give us that opportunity, but whether you are traveling for business or for pleasure, you should avoid taking a travel1break from your healthy-living habits. So, whether you are traveling by car, bus, train, boat or plane, or even shanks’s pony, this section contains hints and tips on how you can enjoy the trip, no matter how long or short it may be. As regards your diabetes, your body doesn’t care if you are on vacation. You still need to eat healthy and check your blood sugar. Similarly, don’t relax your exercise regimen. In this section I will try to analyse a few of those areas and how they relate to managing your diabetes.
