About This Blog

Every day, you perform hundreds, if not thousands, of actions. These can vary from getting dressed or taking a shower to tasks at work or driving your car. Heck, it could even be something simple like singing along to your favorite song. You don’t even think about most of these actions because they have become habits. So, what would happen if you changed a few of those things? Would it be the end of the world as you know it? Probably not. The fact is that you can make relatively minor changes in your daily routines which can make significant improvements in your health.

With that in mind, mentally prepare yourself to make the necessary changes. The tips in this blog do not require major alterations to your lifestyle and should help you feel better throughout the day. After all, you probably didn’t go to the doctor in the first place because you were feeling well. Diabetes is not a disease that you can forget about as soon as you leave your doctor’s office. It’s not even something you can forget about as soon as you have finished a prescribed course of medication or whatever. It will require your attention for the rest of your life.

Diabetes may be incurable, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t fight it. You don’t have to make dramatic and immediate lifestyle changes, but try to incorporate these tips into your life a little at a time. Remember, you are an individual, and nobody is quite the same as you. the same is true of your diabetes. Please don’t feel that following these tips is an all or nothing endeavor. Pick and choose what works for you. By taking these baby steps you can transform your life, and your health, one small step at a time.

I have divided these tips into four areas. I have included a 5th area for inspirational thoughts so as to keep you encouraged. Feel free to use the contact form below to suggest other areas I may have missed. Also, I would love to get feedback about how these tips are working for you. Click on the links to visit each area.
